Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Scope and acceptance. These terms govern patient and user access to InstaHealth, including search, comparison, booking requests, files and support. Creating an account or signing in confirms free and informed acceptance of the displayed version. The platform records the version and time of acceptance for compliance and evidence.
2. Platform role. InstaHealth is a technology platform that organizes provider information and facilitates communications and booking requests. It is not a hospital, clinic, diagnosis service or treatment provider. Healthcare providers act independently and remain responsible for their professional and medical decisions.
3. Emergencies. Do not use the platform for urgent or life-threatening conditions. Call Egyptian ambulance services at 123 or attend the nearest emergency department. A booking request is not medical care and is not guaranteed until confirmed.
4. Accurate information. Users must provide accurate, current and complete information about themselves or a person they lawfully represent, promptly correct errors, and must not impersonate others or provide misleading information.
5. Documents. Users confirm that uploaded documents are genuine, unaltered, lawfully held and may legally be shared. Harmful, irrelevant or unlawfully obtained files, and third-party personal data without a lawful basis, are prohibited. The platform does not certify user-supplied documents merely by receiving them.
6. Privacy and health data. Health information is highly sensitive. It is processed only as needed to operate accounts, booking requests, authorized file access, support, security and legal obligations, subject to Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. This is not unlimited consent for unspecified processing, and statutory data-subject rights remain available subject to lawful medical-record retention duties.
7. Bookings and prices. A booking remains a request until confirmed. Displayed prices and availability depend on provider-supplied information and may change before confirmation. Additional medical services and fees must be explained by the provider as required by law.
8. Informed medical consent. Acceptance of platform terms is not informed consent to an examination, treatment or procedure. The provider and facility must explain diagnosis, alternatives, benefits, risks and costs and obtain valid medical consent under Medical Liability and Patient Safety Law No. 13 of 2025 and applicable professional rules.
9. Verification. Platform verification reflects reviewed information at a point in time; it is not a guarantee of continuing licensure, competence or outcome, nor a medical recommendation. Regulatory authorities retain licensing and disciplinary powers.
10. Account security and conduct. Users must protect credentials and report suspected compromise. Unauthorized access, scraping, disruption, harassment, discrimination, extortion and unlawful content are prohibited.
11. Minors and legally incapable persons. Their data may be provided only by a lawful guardian or representative acting within legal authority and applicable consent and confidentiality requirements.
12. Communications. Users may receive necessary operational and security messages. Marketing communications require separate consent where applicable and may be stopped without disabling essential service messages.
13. Liability. InstaHealth applies reasonable care to its technical service but does not assume responsibility for independent medical decisions, diagnosis, treatment or provider omissions, or false information supplied by another party, except for the platform's own direct legal responsibility. Nothing excludes or limits medical liability or any non-waivable statutory right, including rights under Law No. 13 of 2025 and consumer-protection rules.
14. Suspension and closure. Accounts may be restricted for suspected fraud, false documents, security incidents or legal/contractual breaches. Users may request closure, subject to lawful retention and preservation of claims.
15. Complaints and governing law. Complaints may be submitted through published support channels. Egyptian law applies without restricting mandatory access to regulators, the Consumer Protection Agency or competent courts.
16. Changes. Updated terms may be published when services or law change. The current version is shown and acceptance is requested at every login. Updates do not retroactively remove accrued statutory rights.
Notice: these terms govern platform use and are not individual medical or legal advice.
